Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect from a session?

All sessions are completely tailored to your specific needs and goals. Everything, from the pace and intensity, to the type of exercises, level of impact, and weight ranges — is designed just for you.

We’ll usually start with a gentle warm-up to raise the heart rate, get the blood flowing, and mobilise the joints. From there, we move into focused work based on your goals, whether that’s strength, mobility, fat loss, or overall fitness — and finish with a cool down and stretch to help with recovery and soreness.

You’ll be supported, challenged, and encouraged, but always at a level that’s right for you.

How long is a session and how much does it cost?

Standard sessions are forty five minutes long and cost £30. Sessions are most commonly bought in blocks of five or ten depending on how many times a week you are training.

Do I need to be fit to start?

Not at all. That’s what the sessions are for! Whether you’re starting from scratch, coming back after a break, or already active but want more structure, we’ll work at a pace that’s right for you. Everyone starts somewhere, and my job is to support you every step of the way.

How often should I train?

It depends on your goals, lifestyle, and how much time you can realistically commit. For some people, one session a week is a great starting point. Others might train two to three times a week for faster progress. As long as there’s consistency you’re on your way to making real change. I’m also, always happy to recommend or design additional workouts that you can do outside of our sessions.

What type of clients do you work with?

I work with a wide range of clients, from complete beginners to experienced gym-goers, and everyone in between. Many people come to me wanting to improve strength, mobility, or confidence in their body. Others may be recovering from injury, managing long-term health conditions, they may be pre-or post natal, or just looking to build a sustainable routine that fits their life.

Can you help with nutrition?

Yes. I can offer general advice around healthy eating habits and help you make realistic, sustainable changes that support your goals. If you're after more in-depth support, like a medical meal plan or support with a specific condition, I always recommend working alongside a registered nutritionist or dietitian.

What makes you different?

With over nine years of experience as a personal trainer, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, from complete beginners to pre and postnatal clients, those returning from injury, and people simply wanting to feel more confident in their bodies.

My approach is personal and thoughtful, no generic workouts or quick fixes. Everything is built around you, your goals, your body, and your lifestyle. I focus on helping you move well, build strength, and create lasting habits.

It’s not about perfection — it’s about progress, and creating a space where you feel supported, not judged.
